At Saccomano Academics, we believe that every student has the potential to succeed. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.
Our Summer Programs allow students the time and resources to advance through the curriculum at their own pace by learning concepts in an organized presentation of new knowledge supported by review and connection of core concepts. With approval from the Cherry Creek School District (CCSD), CCHS offers students the opportunity to "test out of" Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors/Trigonometry, or Pre-Calculus Honors. By passing a final exam in August—before the school year begins—students can skip the full-year course and advance to the next level.
The Saccomano Full Course Curriculum provides comprehensive coverage of the CCHS curriculum for each of these courses, ensuring that approved students are fully prepared to test out of a class by the end of the summer. Our Summer Day Passes offer flexibility, allowing families to tailor the curriculum to fit their student’s availability. Whether your student needs a one-day session or a full summer of learning, we can create a customized curriculum to meet their individual needs.
At Saccomano, our proven SaccoProcess of learning can strengthen a student’s foundational math skills, provide a head start in any subject - from Algebra 1 through AP Calculus - or simply provide help for assigned summer math packet work.
Moving from Physical Science Honors to AP Chemistry?
Students advancing from Physical Science Honors to AP Chemistry often face a significant increase in difficulty and gaps in foundational chemistry knowledge, making the transition challenging.
To address this, we offer in-person summer prep sessions using our SaccoScience Chemistry Honors Curriculum, specifically designed for Cherry Creek High School students. These sessions not only help students build the critical base knowledge needed to excel alongside their peers but also cover the required summer reading assigned by the AP Chemistry teachers at CCHS.
Our experience shows that mastering the first four chapters of the Chemistry Honors textbook (out of fifteen) provides the essential groundwork for success in the AP Chemistry course. Additional chapters can be purchased upon request once the first four chapters are completed.
